Arthur Stuart Band
The Artie Stuart Band is one of the most exciting and sought-after dance bands in the New York party scene today. A lead singer and multi-instrumentalist on lead guitar, bass, and keyboard, Artie has been performing for more than 18 years with his regular “set” group of musicians and vocalists. While primarily specializing in playing at wedding receptions, the band performs for a range of private social, corporate and charitable party events. Artie performed on The Today Show for the popular morning television show’s Today Throws A Wedding segment at the world-famous Rainbow Room. Artie’s dance band plays at more than 60 weddings each year. On film, Artie and his band were on screen in the feature film Ghosts of Girlfriends Past starring Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Garner.
A band leader of tremendous musical gifts, Artie and his band play an incredible range of music though the decades from traditional Swing, Big Band, Rock, Motown, R&B, Disco, 1980’s, 1990’s, Latin and right up to today’s Top 40. Whether it is Artie’s signature acoustic repertoire or hot club style music, the repertoire can always be customized to meet any musical need or taste. The band has its core members but is easily expandable to suit a variety of budgets, locations, and musical styles. Artie loves to work with brides and grooms to help them plan the music for their big day, whether it is making suggestions or learning that special song.
Erica and I wanted to write you a note to let you know how great you and the band were. It was a pleasure working with you on the set list and flow of things leading up to the wedding, but we couldn't have imagined how amazing everything would sound. You guys are truly spectacular. And you really have an exceptional feel for the flow of the evening and where to take things. All the guests raved about the music. I found myself in awe, a number of times, as well. Thank you so much for being such a huge part of the festivities.
Corbin and Erica

The Artie Stuart Band was amazing at our wedding. Just wanted to extend a thank to them for making the reception so much fun for everyone!
There are no words to properly thank each and every one of you for your hard work this past weekend. I could not have been happier with the way everything turned out nor could I have survived without The Artie Stuart Band and your talented teams! Even with the few bumps we hit along the way (what wedding is without those?!?!) everyone pushed through and delivered a top-notch wedding!
I am forever grateful!
The band last night was amazing! Everyone loved them and the dance floor was packed. They were perfect and played all the right music. Arty was so helpful and everyone in the group could not have been nicer, including the sound guy. A lot of guests asked me for the name of the band. Thank you so much for everything-- Gretchen was right about you all :) -- of course!
All my best,
I’d like to thank Artie for doing an amazing job at our friend’s Liz & Jon’s wedding Saturday afternoon. I can’t say enough how grateful I am for the hard work Artie put into getting this party right. Musically, it wasn’t an easy gig, with some very eclectic choices and special requests. The band had the dance floor packed from the first song till the last!! Very proud of Artie, the band is great!!! EVERYONE loved the music…good job Artie!!
So, I totally texted you the day after our wedding about how much fun everyone had, and how awesome you and the band were, and I wondered why I never received a reply from you... After we got back from our honeymoon, I realized I texted your home number! Hahaha go figure.
Anyway, bottom line is THANK YOU so much for being a part of our wedding celebration. You, most importantly, were so wonderful. Your talent is just unbelievable, seriously. I loved our cocktail music; don't you think I didn't hear all of those songs! (Um Free bird? My mom and I were DYING! That's our song!) and the reception music was fabulous. My friends couldn't believe your range of music, country to dance to classics, just perfect. Also, I really appreciate you going out of the box for our first dance, and learning that song for us. That was so special and kind of you to take the time to do that for us.
I have to note that you and the band really took our song requests seriously, and respectfully played pretty much ALL of them! I feel like all of my friends have complained in the past about how their band/DJ completely ignored their requests and played whatever they wanted. I don't know if we just lucked out and you happened to just know a lot of the music we like, or you guys learned a bunch of new songs. Whatever it was, it worked out so well, and I'm so thankful that Harlan matched us to you. I am also super appreciative of your professional approach- you got down to business, but still managed to be so down to earth and COOL! I really loved our phone conversations, and you taking the time to map out a perfectly (and classy, not awkward!) MC'd event. Kevin and I could not be happier.
You were just plain fabulous, and whomever I have to talk to communicate that message, I would be happy to. You will forever have a referral from us! I wish you the best, and hope we meet up again in the future.
So many thanks again,
Words cannot properly express my gratitude and appreciation for all of the hard work, time, and patience you put in to making my wedding day so incredible! It was beyond what I could have ever imagined. The day was absolutely perfect!!! And I have you to thank for that. I know there were some tough moments, but you made it all look so effortless. You and your band are truly exceptional!! It meant so much to me to have you there, to be a part of such an important day.
Thank you so much,
We just wanted to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU for making Beth and Craig's wedding the most wonderful day that it was. We have received only rave reviews for the music.
Once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts and for making Beth and Craig's day so very special.
With all our best,
Ellen and Martin (bride's parents)
Hi Lori and Stephanie,
I just wanted to let you know that it was a real pleasure working with your company on this wedding. Working in conjunction with you guys made producing this event from Los Angeles a breeze. So, thank you! In addition, I just wanted you to know that we were all so happy with the Artie Stuart Band - they were really amazing! Great, great energy, and so talented and easy to work with. Everyone was so accommodating and just wanted to be of service. Artie was a dream - so nice and accommodating and on top of all the details at all times. The night flowed effortlessly and they kept the dance floor packed. In fact, at the end of the evening the crowd started to chant "one more song". LOVED the 2 lead singers. Everyone raved and the next day the family talked about having another event just so they could hire this band.

Hi Artie, Thanks so much!! We had the BEST Day! everything went so well and you were fantastic. I really really appreciate it! You totally made our night perfect. I cannot thank you enough!!
We’re heading out soon for Italy - but had to let you know that you and the band were amazing. Matt and I loved everything ... every song played, the sound, the energy ... and the best compliment of all, (from many guests) was that the band was fantastic ... people said they forgot to eat because they were having so much fun. I hope it’s ok, I shared your info with my sister In law (not getting married for another year) and two cousins who aren’t engaged yet but soon will be! Wish we could do it all again ... thank you. Happy to write a review or whatever might help (not that you need it) once we return!!

"We used Artie Stuart for our wedding...I don't think Hank Lane has a single band that is not amazing. Artie and his group were unreal. Artie played Nirvana, Eagles, Oasis, etc. at our cocktail hour, it was so cool, everyone was so excited to hear those songs, just set an awesome mood for the night. When we got on the dance floor they played the best mix of music to get all age groups dancing. So fun, everyone said their feet were killing them the next day from dancing, which is always the sign of an awesome band and great wedding!"
