The Kenny Ford band knocked it out of the park. Our entire wedding of 200 people were up and dancing the ENTIRE night. They played music from all types of genre's and stuck to our even most detailed requests, like a rendition of Go Cubs Go for our Chicago Cubs fans in the crowd. They set the stage all night and coordinated the flow of the evening to perfection. The three-piece jazz trio that broke out of the larger band for the cocktail hour was such a nice way to greet guests and set the mood for the rest of the night. “Stop what you’re doing right now and email hank lane and ask to book the Clara Jordan band. I got married 4 days ago, and am on pricey hotel Wi-Fi- but it's worth it for this review! Clara Jordan simply put was the best band I have ever seen. My sister and all my cousins used various hank lane bands... and all of them admitted that ours was the best! Even my parents! That's right - my mom even admitted my band was the best! Clara Jordan kept the party pumping and bumping all night long. They did the most epic rendition of shout I have ever heard. They did very request I asked for. Clara Jordan is a friggen gem. They were so polite and great to work with. When we fell behind schedule (not their fault at all) they even came over to me to tell me That they couldn't play all my must have songs and asked me to pick which song I could do without! Most bands wouldn't have even done that! Ahhhh they were so good. My husband and I are thinking of naming our first-born Clara, after her. Do you get the point that they are epic and amazing?! “I apologize for not reaching out sooner, as we have just returned from our honeymoon and have been soaking up the "post-wedding reflection" period.
I will start by tipping my cap to the entire Dane Wright band - to say you guys killed it would be an understatement. Your performance easily exceeded any expectation I had entering the wedding (and word of mouth was extremely positive for you guys coming in so expectations were quite lofty to begin with lol).
I cannot thank you and your band enough. As you know, a wedding day is BUSY, so busy that memories could easily be lost in one big blur. While our day was indeed fast-paced and at times blurry, your band's presence and personality left us with memories that will last forever, something that is truly priceless. From the beautiful opening ceremony music to closing the night out with "shout", you guys stood out as a true highlight of our special day. We easily received more compliments over the Dane Wright band than all of our other vendors COMBINED (including the milkshakes which were a hit lol).
Bringing joy to people's lives is at times challenging, but important in today's world. Please feel great about yourselves and the job you do as you bring more joy to people than you even realize.

“Book the Frank Simmons Band NOW!! They are absolutely incredible! From the moment we first met with Frank, he made my husband and I completely confident that he and his band would help to create a rocking party that would have our guests dancing all evening. They did not disappoint! Frank listened to all of our requests, and even re-worked a song that we wanted as our first dance to make the speed more appropriate. He and his band interacted with the crowd (which we wanted and requested) which helped to hype everyone up even more. They were able to read a room, and managed to pick the perfect songs through the last minute of our party! “I cannot recommend Luxe enough! If you are looking for a band in NY - or near New York - look no further! We had Luxe perform at our 165-person wedding at the Foundry in August 2017 and they were beyond amazing. We worked with Hank Lane to find a band for our wedding, knowing we wanted live music. Harlan at Hank Lane pointed us to Luxe and we couldn't be happier he did. Luxe was so easy to work with. They have an extensive repertoire of songs, were willing to learn any new songs if we needed, worked with us to make the flow of the evening cohesive - they were just all around amazing. We worked with the band leader Frank in the run up to the event and he is an awesome person, MC and performer. He knows how weddings work and was accommodating of all requests we had but also incredibly insightful on timing and scheduling. And that was just before the wedding. Luxe's talent blew us - and every single one of our guests - away. We used a portion of the band for our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner music and then dancing. They executed each part perfectly. The raw talent of each member is, simply put, insane. And their performance together is infectious. Luxe, while being a big band with a lot of talent, at no point became a show as large wedding bands can sometimes become. Their focus was good music that got the guests engaged, excited and dancing. I hope we have another excuse to work with Luxe, or at least see them at someone else's event sometime soon!”

“We knew going into our wedding that the band was one of the most important decision to make and we could not be happier that we chose the Marcus Reid Band. Words cannot describe the performance they put on for our wedding. Throughout the entire night and the next day, people, both old and young, were coming up to us just to tell us how awesome they thought they band was. “We hired Erik Marshall's band through Hank Lane Music. We love to dance and it was really important to us to have a band who would inspire everyone to get out on the dance floor. Erik and his band delivered on this beyond our wildest expectations. They are the best cover band I have ever heard, anywhere. I felt like we were at a private concert--everyone in the band was so talented, and great entertainers who are truly excellent at pumping up a crowd. Most importantly--Erik has a ridiculous talent for reading the crowd and figuring out what songs to play. Spotify would surely pay millions for an algorithm half as good his abilities, but a computer could never truly replicate what he and his band can do. We gave him an overview of our musical preferences, and some "make sure to play/definitely don't play" guidance on some specific songs. By the time they had finished the first set, the band had locked onto the crowd's taste perfectly. Everyone had such a great time dancing. The only issue was major exhaustion the next day! Hank Lane was great to work with while picking a band and figuring out logistics--especially Stephanie who diligently chased us down and made sure all of the last-minute details were finalized in the week leading up to the wedding.”

From the very beginning of the planning process to the last minute of our wedding, this experience was A+. It's undeniable Hank Lane holds the very best wedding bands on the East Coast, and I cannot say enough amazing things about our experience with Pete Saunders and the crew. My husband and I have very eclectic music taste - we love everything from hip-hop and EDM to Top 40 and rock 'n' roll. The band was so incredibly dynamic and played to the crowd based on how the evening flowed; from our entrance dance to 'In Paris' by Kanye West, to our first dance 'I Will Wait' by Mumford and Sons to Ray LaMontagne's 'You Are the Best Thing,' Pete and the band did NOT disappoint. All of our guests raved about their talents, diversified music choice and overall performance. They have an amazing stage presence and contagious energy that is bound to make any dance part truly EPIC. As the band leader and head composer to all Hank Lane bands, Pete was an amazing partner throughout the planning process. From reviewing our timelines to connecting live and via phone leading up to the big day, Pete proved to be an amazing soundboard (pun intended) as we experimented with the flow of the evening. Pete assured us the night was customizable to whatever we wanted, and that was an interactive dance party where guests were on their feet for the majority of the night...and we got that 10x over. “We hired Estrella to play our wedding, and they were ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. We were very, very picky about the music we wanted at our wedding. We heard many band promos, and while they were fine, they still sounded like a "band." So, we were leaning towards hiring a club DJ. That was, of course, until we heard Estrella.
Harlan (from Hank Lane) listened to what we were looking for, showed us videos of Estrella, and had us listen to some of their work. We knew immediately that we had to hire them. And that is exactly what we did - right there on the spot. They have the most incredible range, and they honestly sound better than most of the studio recorded tracks we listen to. They truly blew us away.
We had a perfect experience working with Carlos and the rest of Estrella. Carlos met with us beforehand to discuss the vibe of our wedding, and when it came to show time, he and Estrella executed it beautifully. We didn't even give them a list of songs - we just told them what we and our guests liked, and he took it from there. To sum it up - Estrella was absolutely incredible at our wedding. All of our guests were complimenting us on the music. Estrella went from dance music to 90's house to pop songs to rock to hip hop to oldies to Latin jams with complete ease, and the party was rocking all night. People hardly sat down. As I said before, we are absolute music snobs - and the best decision we ever made was to hire Estrella to play our wedding. We cannot recommend them enough.”

“The Russ Bennett Band made our wedding day absolutely spectacular! Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing the band was during the reception and have not stopped talking about it since the wedding! A number of guests told us that they felt like they were at a concert! Russ makes each bride and groom feel so special from our first meeting to our first dance! My husband and I filled out an online playlist and then spent about an hour on the phone with Artie going over the songs. We knew then that we were in good hands! “We worked with Chioma and the Sugar Lane Band and they helped make our wedding (6/3/2017) even more amazing than we ever imagined. We looked at a lot of the Hank Lane bands (all great), but Sugar Lane was our top choice and we were so happy to partner with them. They made my wife and I look really good, since we had been talking them up for months leading up to the wedding - they definitely more than delivered given all the hype! The music for the ceremony and cocktail hour was perfect (guitar, violin, and piano). It really made the ceremony fun with mostly instrumental classic rock and pop. Then the party itself was incredible - so much energy from the entire band, which kept the dance floor packed all night. The wedding kicked off with Call me Al (great rendition) and then the horah, which was awesome and set the tone for the night. And the performances of smells like teen spirit and bang bang were the highlights, which blew us and our guests away. The band had so much range and mastered all different kinds of music - pop, classic rock, hip hop, oldies, and even a little country, etc. But the performances were always structured to keep people dancing and keep the energy high. Sugar Lane has so many new fans after the wedding including their new biggest fan - MY MOM! She couldn't stop smiling and dancing all night. Prior to the wedding both Chioma and Kim from Hank Lane were extremely professional to work with. They were very responsive and worked hard to customize playlist, performances, etc. to match exactly what we were looking for. We have nothing but great things to say about our overall experience. I would strongly recommend Sugar Lane to anyone who wants to have a fun party with a lot of dancing!”

“We booked Hank Lane because a couple [of] friends of ours had used this company for their wedding band and we were not disappointed. It's been months since our wedding and people are still talking about how amazing the band was! They played a range of songs and played most of our must plays - a range of oldies, 80s, 90s, top 40 - you name it, they sang it!
We went with The Frank Michaels band after we discussed with our sales associate the kind of music we wanted. The band was unreal and so talented. We went with a 10-piece band and all members sing! They also never took a break and played continuous music the whole night. Our first dance song which is literally not a well-known song and buried deep in iTunes was played and executed perfectly - the singer nailed it perfectly!
We also booked a stage through Hank Lane and it was totally worth it. The whole look and feel of it was just wow. My parting words, don't be afraid that a band can't play every song you want - that was my concern and almost why we went with a DJ. This band played everything from Avicii to Bruno Mars, Meghan Trainor, Bon Jovi, Journey, JT, Oasis, Rihanna, and the list goes on! Hank Lane/Frank Michaels is totally worth every penny. If you have the budget, go for a band over a DJ, they're timeless.”

“What can I say about Hank Lane? They are the best. Our budget was limited, so we asked what we could get in our price point. We ended up splurging and dropped one band member to hit a price we could work with but it was worth it for Kenny Ford Band - our guests were on the dance floor the entire time up until the very last second, and the dance floor was PACKED. They accommodated a request to let my dad and his friends play a few songs themselves, and even jumped in during the last song to play together. Our first dance song was a little unique (Led Zeppelin) and Kenny Ford killed it. We were so happy with them - they really made the party exciting and fun. I wish we could have kept it going for hours more! So many of our friends were telling us how much they loved the band. Hiring them was an awesome decision and I would do it again in a heartbeat.”
