Frank Simmons Band: "10/10!"

Our #1 most important thing when planning our wedding was live music. We looked at ~20 top bands in the NY/NJ area, and after seeing Frank Simmons Band's video we knew we wanted to have them. It ended up being the best decision.

Frank and his team were incredibly attentive/responsive and played to the exact type of vibe/party we wanted (a mix of throwbacks and new-age stuff). Our dance floor was packed all night which is what we wanted, and Frank and his team executed things perfectly.

Multiple people told us after the wedding how amazing and versatile they were. I would recommend them 10/10 to keep your dance floor packed all night and make your wedding night memorable.

Frank Simmons Band: "Best decision"

The Frank Simmons Band, part of Hank Lane, was incredible at our wedding on April 13, 2024! The entire night they brought the energy and kept everyone on their feet the entire time. The ten-piece band brought such great vibes, and they even got in on the dance floor action, making it feel like a private concert just for us. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how awesome they were, saying it was the best wedding band they've ever seen. Frank and the Hank Lane team were great to work with. Additionally, the strings and piano player they provided for our ceremony and cocktail hour were the perfect touch. 

Hiring them was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our big day!

Frank Simmons Band: "No One Wanted To Leave The Dance Floor!"

Hope all is well and you both have had an enjoyable holiday season.

Conor and I are just getting settled back after our honeymoon and we wanted to drop you a note to thank you both for everything. The music was beyond perfect!! Frank Simmons and his band did an absolutely fantastic job. The range of music played was incredible from Bruce Springsteen, Van Morrison, and Motown artists, to Maroon Five, Bruno Mars, Nicki Minaj, and other top 40 artists. The band had an amazing ability of keeping the energy level high throughout the entire night which in turn kept everyone on the dance floor (literally no one wanted to leave the dance floor)– which is exactly what we wanted. Just about every guest has complemented the band and many have deemed them the “best wedding band ever” (and we would agree).

Frank Simmons Band Review: "...amazing, so talented, upbeat and fun!"

Hi there, dear Ian –

It’s been almost a month since Katie and Anthony’s wedding . . . but not a day goes by that I don’t relive the awesomeness of it! I can’t thank you enough for everything you did to ensure that the entertainment was as over-the-top fabulous as it always is when I work with you and Hank Lane.

Putting together an Overlook Foundation event is one thing; coordinating something as personal as my daughter’s wedding is altogether different. You are the ultimate professional, so I had no doubt that every detail would be handled to perfection . . . and that the Frank Simmons Band would be every bit as extraordinary as you promised. From the moment they met you, Katie and Anthony were totally impressed with your knowledge of virtually every kind of music there is, as well as what works and what doesn’t work with a collection of 170 friends and family that spans several generations.

Frank and his group were amazing, so talented, upbeat and fun! Of course our guests loved it when the vocalists came onto the dance floor and encouraged everyone to join in. They were also great at reading the crowd, raising or lowering the intensity of the music to enhance the mood at that moment.

Katie calls it the wedding of her dreams, and even Anthony, a man of few words, has said that he knew it would be great but he had no idea just how great. I am so grateful to you, Frank and his band, and the Hank Lane team for helping us give our bride and groom the most wonderful day of their lives, one we will all remember forever!

Hi Ian,

I want to take a minute and thank Hank Lane and the Frank Simmons Band for a truly spectacular job at our reception. Our wedding was back in April and people are still talking about how amazing the band was! The whole process was truly effortless from day one. My husband was extremely particular about how the music would carry the night and it was more than we could have ever asked for. From the lead singer of the band jumping in with our crazy family and friends on "Shout" to the DJ the rocked the end of the party everything was so perfect! Thank you for helping us choose music that fit us perfectly and thank you to the oh so talented Frank Simmons Band! They were truly amazing!!!

Hello Frank and Team:

I hope that all is well and that you're having a great week. Tressie and I just got back from our amazing two week honeymoon in Italy (Rome, Florence, Lake Como and Milan). We had quite the vacation and are now excited to start this next chapter in our lives, as husband and wife.

Now that I am back, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for everything. Our entire experience in working with the Frank Simmons Band and Hank Lane Music as a company: from our initial meeting with Spencer where he was quick to work on a solution within our budget; to the communication process as we coordinated the logistics heading into the wedding; to our initial meeting with Frank and all our back and forth communications with him; etc. was a truly wonderful experience.

Frank Simmons in particular, I want to give extra praise to Frank whose passion and energy was contagious and he truly made us feel like we were the most important wedding he was ever going to do. He and Tressie had a bunch of back and forth emails on creative ideas and they worked extremely well together. From the 1st time we met Frank we knew we had made the right decision and we both took a big deep breathe knowing that the band was second to none. Frank and his team's performance on our wedding night did not disappoint! I cannot count the number of people who said some version of: "Amazing wedding, who was that band!?", "Best band I have ever heard at a wedding", "The energy of your wedding was unbelievable; that band was great", "You have to send me the name of that band", and so on and so forth. The Frank Simmons Band really brought their A+ game to our wedding and I greatly appreciate it. As a company, Hank Lane Music did everything you said you would do and really went above and beyond for us. A true first rate experience!

We could not have had a better experience working with a band and we are so grateful that we found you. I'm here as a satisfied customer who wants to help out a great customer service business.

Ian - where can we even begin?? The music was beyond PERFECT!! Everyone was saying it was the best band they've ever heard (and I've already passed on a bunch of referrals!) We loved working with Frank Simmons' Band and DJ West through Hank Lane and everyone is still talking about how great the music was at our wedding! We wanted to include a lot of different styles between parents, grandparents, and college friends. Frank Simmons offered great suggestions to keep everyone happy and keep the crowd dancing all night!

We used the Frank Simmons Band for our wedding at Florentine Gardens in April. To say they were amazing would be an understatement. The band was phenomenal and left all of our guests (and ourselves) raving for weeks. The leader (Frank) was absolutely incredible on his saxophone and would come out into the crowd along with other band members and play. Our venue told us that the amount of people dancing at all times was something they normally don't see. We gave a flexible list of songs we like and the band played pretty much everything we wanted to hear. The energy they provided to the party palpable. I could not have asked for a better experience and will be recommending them to all my friends in the hopes I can see them again!
